What parents should know

Nina (13 year old son)

“I’ve never seen my 13-year-old so excited to step into new environments and try things outside his comfort zone. As a mom, there’s nothing better than watching your child build confidence and form real friendships.”

Sending your child to camp is a big decision.

Our team works hard to create a structured, safe, and supportive environment where campers can explore independence while still being guided by trusted leaders.

COMMON QUERIES

Answers to common questions

WHO IS CAMP FUSION FOR?

Camp Fusion is designed for students who want to experience a fun, meaningful summer camp that combines adventure, mentorship, and personal growth. Camp fusion does not condone discrimination against any camper based on race, religion, gender, ethnicity or disability. With widely and excitedly opening our doors for registration we do conduct our program with an unwavering commitment for underserved populations with little to no access or means to experience camp life on this scale.

IS THIS AN OVERNIGHT CAMP?

Yes. Camp Fusion is a one-week overnight experience designed to give campers the full camp community experience. Campers will bunk in community cabins separated by age and gender. Camp Fusion provides 3 hot meals a day that include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with snacks. Please note any allergen or dietary restriction information upon camper registration.

WHAT DOES PARENT COMMUNICATION LOOK LIKE

We want families to feel confident and informed every step of the way.

Parents will receive:

  • Pre-camp preparation information

  • Packing guidance

  • Clear camp schedules

  • Contact information for leadership

WHAT SHOULD MY CAMPER BRING?

At minimum campers are expected to bring appropriate and approximate clothing, shoes, hygiene care, and sleep necessities. A detailed packing list will be provided after registration to help campers arrive prepared and comfortable. Campers who are in need of medical administration will be able to have that noted during registration and will have one on one care with our Camp Medical Staff.

Counselors receive first-aid, CPR, conflict resolution, sexual abuse prevention, and American Camp Association training resources to ensure a thorough preparation to serve and lead your campers.

WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING DO THE COUNSELORS RECEIVE?

Camp Fusion intentionally keeps enrollment limited so every camper receives attention, mentorship, and support. We keep our registration maxed to 100 campers.
